We have a huge red lab, one min pin, and two lab puppies at our home, in town. The puppies are not permanent family members, only until we find people to pay cold, hard cash for them. The new puppies caused a huge backset in all areas of my dog's( the min pin) behavior. He is consumed by jealousy, and the best way to show that is, when he is in the house , to poop behind the loveseat. We need to sell the puppies. Anybody?
By the way, our house is very clean and it does not stink like animals!
Marc has been roofing some friend's addition in the evenings and weekend. When I get off of work, I go there, and my friend and I spend the evening eating, and talking, talking, talking, talking,talking..........She never thinks of anything that she wants to ask, but is too afraid to, if you get the picture. It is disconcerting and comforting at the same time. You can ask her anything, also, and you never ever wonder what she is thinking. =) I love her to death. And she causes me anxiety. She has three beautiful daughters and one hilarious little boy and they live in a very small house- like 800 sq. ft. or something. Time spent there is a true adventure.
I really want to know how a person cultivates self discipline in your life ?
And I have a huge project in the works. I'm not revealing what it is until I have it more pinned down, but I am really excited.

Oh, my, that last paragraph has my curiosity way up there! No, we do not want a pup. Is this friend why I have hardly talked to you? And self-discipline...just stay in bed until 9 every morning. Kind of sets the pace for the whole day. :-) Guess that wasn't what you were after. I really don't think any of these comments were what you were after. But here they are. Talk to you soon, promise.

As for lab puppies...I would love one, but Dennis would have a fit, so I better skip. We want peace in the home you know!!HA!!!
Self -discipline...No idea..except maybe make yourself do things you don't want to do. For instance..maybe you want to sleep in. Instead get up at 6:00. Now wouldnt that be a good start for self discipline? Thats what I thought too!!! BTW. I slept in this morning!!!!
THAT is my question-- how to make yourself get out of bed when you don't want to.
sure self-discipline...i didn't want to get up before 7 but i had to...and my sister were still in bed when i came in the house a little after 9! is that self-discipline??? :)
Keep giving little tibbits of your huge project w/out telling Arlene--it will drive her nuts!!!!!!!!:) she deserves it!!!

Arlene, you are just like me. Once I know a bit, my imagination goes into over drive. :-) I would rather know nothing than part of it.
hey, Arlene....maybe I got a big inheritance and am pregnant with twins or it could even be triplets... I have a cousin who had three single births, twins, and is due in Oct. with triplets. Or maybe we are going to visit Lori this winter- that has alot to do with both things mentioned. What do you think is going on? If you guess good enough, you might get more hints.

Now as for Sharon...yea she keeps acting like its me going crazy, but really she is dying to know too..she is the one that calls over here and if I tell her I'm going to town, she HAS to know WHY and all that stuff. One sunday evening when we weren't at church..guess who called me and wanted to know WHERE we were and WHAT we did??!!! See she is just as nosy as the rest of us, so no sharon I still don't see any halo!!!! LOL!!!!!

well i was all ears for the learning how to "get" a disciplined lifestyle...but it would seem everyone is more interested in you "project!"
im almost 40 and still have way to far to go on being disciplined!
